Primary Purpose of Position
Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, the Site Safety Officer (NCSO) will be responsible for facilitating compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines, evaluate and monitor health and safety hazards and develop strategies to control risks on site. The main goal will be to always ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
•Conduct all new hire and safety orientations for the designated site.
•Ensure training is completed and employees have equipment and resources to fulfill job requirements.
•Maintain all site safety records.
•Enforcement of company policies and procedures.
•Investigate incidents and complete incident reports.
•Assist with Safety program auditing.
•Perform site audits.
•Ability to travel and stay at field work locations.
•All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
