Lyle Bouvier served as Points Athabasca’s legal expert from October 2014 until joining the company full time in February 2016 as VP of Corporate Services. Lyle earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba, and has worked for nearly twenty years as a lawyer in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Specializing in Aboriginal law issues, Lyle has done extensive work in taxation and corporate litigation, including multi-million dollar tax cases and collaboration agreements across Canada. He currently serves as the Chairman for the Aboriginal Election Appeal Committee. In addition to his legal work, Lyle worked at an executive level at Des Nedhe Developments as their VP, Corporate Affairs, and he has also owned and managed a successful oil service company.
